Project Divinity

Compassion on Every Road

Project Divinity is a GTA-based response initiative dedicated to helping animals affected on highways and major roadways. When an animal is injured, stranded, or has passed away, we work with local welfare organizations and community responders to ensure care, rescue, or a respectful final journey.

Our Mission

Project Divinity exists to ensure that animals affected on highways and major roadways are not left unseen, unattended, or without dignity. Our mission is to coordinate compassionate response for injured, stranded, or deceased animals across the Greater Toronto Area through timely action, community reporting, and partnerships with local animal welfare organizations.

What We Do

Project Divinity acts as a response and coordination initiative for animals found on highways and high-risk roadways. When reports are received, the priority is to assess the situation quickly and connect the case to the appropriate rescue, treatment, welfare, or removal pathway depending on the condition of the animal.

📞

Emergency Reporting

Receiving alerts about injured, stranded, or deceased animals on highways and major roads.

🚑

Rescue Coordination

Helping connect injured animals to appropriate responders, rehabilitation, or veterinary care where possible.

🕊️

Respectful Aftercare

Ensuring animals that have passed are treated with dignity and not forgotten.

🤝

Local Partnerships

Working alongside welfare organizations and local support networks in the GTA.

Why This Matters

Highways are among the most dangerous and most overlooked places for animals in distress. Injured wildlife and deceased animals on expressways are often difficult for the public to help directly, and response can depend on knowing which agency, service, or support channel to contact.

Project Divinity exists to bridge that gap through awareness, coordination, and compassionate follow-through. The goal is simple: reduce suffering, support proper response, and ensure every life is treated with respect.

A Connected Response Network

Project Divinity is already active in the GTA and connected with multiple local welfare organizations. The initiative is presented as a growing network that brings together public reporting, volunteers, compassionate responders, and animal welfare support to improve response quality in high-risk roadside situations.

Values That Guide This Work

This initiative is inspired by principles of compassion, dignity, and selfless service. In Sikh thought, seva reflects serving without personal gain, while Sarbat da Bhala expresses a commitment to the welfare of all. Project Divinity carries these values into action by responding to suffering with care and ensuring that even the most overlooked lives are treated with humanity and respect.

While rooted in values that resonate with Sikh teachings, Project Divinity exists to serve all communities and all living beings with equal compassion.

Our Vision

Project Divinity aims to grow into a stronger, technology-enabled support system for roadside animal response. Over time, the initiative can expand through improved reporting tools, volunteer coordination, data collection on incident hotspots, and deeper collaboration with welfare partners across the region.

Centralized Helpline

A single, reliable point of contact for safe and timely reporting of roadside incidents.

Digital Reporting Workflow

Modern reporting tools that route cases to the right responders quickly and consistently.

Hotspot Mapping

Data-driven identification of high-incident zones on highways and major roadways.

Expanded Responder Network

Wider coverage across the GTA with trained volunteers and partner organizations.
